I use color as a powerful yet subliminal stimulus.
The hues and tones
are meant to arouse the brain in a harmonious way. With cascades
of
color that powerfully ripen and enrich the confines of realism
to the
flurry of an active abstraction, I utilize a multitude of
media on canvas
and paper.
Exploration 21
Exploration 30
In the 'Exploration' series of nu-age abstracts,
fields of color, impasto lines of movement, glimmers of glitter,
mineral stones and cut glass jewels come together in such
a way: it makes the viewer feel as if they are traveling an
opulent, celestial journey.
This 10-year series began my 'attachment work' primarily painting
color fields, but attaching an assortment of objects. Also,
the use of iridescent powders and/or flakes that surface and
disappear in different lighting emerged.

Beaches Cubed 6
In the 'Resolution' series color fields with
touches of realism resolves my genre to 'abstract-realism'.
Using various themes, such as leaves, horse and rider, eco-animal
awareness, the sea, beaches and figures (especially women's
legs-which reverts to my early realism works), I have come
full-circle.
Available for sale and exhibition are original
paintings, works on paper and Giclee prints that span the
three-decade journey of a living artist. Be in touch with
me and patronize the artists of today so that we may continue
our role in civilization.
