Influenced by the Impressionists, Madge finds light, colour
and space forces that fascinate her and keep her painting
to capture her view of these on canvas. Winner of a number
of awards, including the Cornelissen Award, presented by HRH
the Duchess of Kent at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters'
Annual Exhibition. She regularly exhibited with the Royal
Institute of Oil Painters, Britain's Painters and has exhibited
with the Society of Botanical Artists.

She holds one-person exhibitions. She was admitted
to The Worshipful Company of Painters, Otherwise Painter Stainers
as a Freeman and to the Freedom of the City of London Painters
Hall on the 27th May l997 where she has taken part in their
Annual Exhibitions. Her work has been published as cards,
prints calendars, educational material for magazines and as
reference work in "How to Paint and Draw" and listed
in the "Who's Who of Art".
