"I am a painter of the darkness for a drop of good. Irretrievably, I immersed into the darkest corners of spiritual destructiveness of a human being in hope to describe it, to stay for a while. Humbleness of those who suffer captured my sensibility.
I resist not, I seek for the way out. My images tried to be a message, no one replied. Now, they are just a scream and I am not sure anyone can hear it."

Mirko Sevic was born on 24th of April, 1954 in Velika Kladusa.
As a ten year old boy he was prized with a five day visit by two famous artists, Mr. Krsto Hegedusic and Mr. Ivan Generalic. His affinity and love towards art was unwillingly interupted in order to pursue education in a career for which he didn't have much interest, only because of misunderstandings of the surroundings and family. Upon successful completion of law studies and now having himself on his own feet, he gradually sets his mind back on art and for several years builds his own specific style and technique of expressing himself.
